Hello and Welcome
I have had a passion for many years to have a Bed and Breakfast when I retired. Although I didn't go that route, I am pleased to welcome you to my beautiful Vacation Rental.
As a'military brat', I grew up in many different provinces. My parents were both veterans, as are all of my siblings, my two sons and a daughter in law. My husband and I are also veterans and found Grand Forks back in 2007 when we were looking to purchase some land for our retirement.

I have such fond memories of my time in the military, and visited or lived in so many different provinces that it was difficult to choose a place to retire. While stationed in Cold Lake, Alberta, we visited BC a few times and were drawn to the mountains. For me, I have come full circle as I was born in Vancouver when my dad was stationed in RCAF Station Sea Island. I knew I didn't want to live in or around a big city, as I always thought of myself as a country girl.

Driving along Hwy 3 to the coast is a beautiful scenic route, but most people take Hwy 1 to get to their destination in a timely manner. Taking the Crowsnest Hwy 3 is one of leisure because the towns and cities you will encounter along the way are stunning. My vacation rental is in Boundary country, and when you come at it from either the east or west, you will be struck by the beauty of this perfect valley of farmslands nestled amongst the mountains.

During my military career I met so many wonderful people and hope that if you are civilian, serving or retired and pass by this way, heading east or west; you will choose to stop for a night or two. During the year there are so many wonderful things to do, attractions to visit and activites/entertainment to take part in. Where my vacation rental is situated, you can enter onto the Trans Canada Trail (North Fork Trans Canada Trail) to hike, bike, ATV or cross country ski. In the early summer you can tube down the Kettle River or Granby River, enjoy a walk along the trails or take in the annual International Ball Tournament at the James Donaldson Park. Starting in September you can enjoy a great game of hockey featuring our own Grand Forks Border Bruins at the Jack Goddard Arena and once the snow flies you can cross country ski or visit Phoenix Skil Hill for some downhill and snowboarding. We also have a wonderful acquatics centre and next door to it is a Skate Park.

My one bedroom suite is light and airy with all amenities and can sleep 5 people. Just pack your clothes, pick up some groceries and enjoy what I have to offer.
